Hello, I am Emma Hox, welcome to my website.  I am pleased that you have come here to join me.  This site is dedicated to all of you that have a passion for reading and who also love Jane Austen and Pride and Prejudice even half as much as I do.

I have loved to write from a very young age.  I began writing short stories and never stopped.  In fact I recently found one that I wrote at the ripe age of 8 about Princess Diane and Prince Charles divorcing.  It is obvious what was going on in the news at the time.  I will have to share it on a post sometime.  Although I took a break from writing while I attended and graduated from Central Washington University, I never gave up writing completely.  I transitioned into some poetry and song lyrics and then came back to writing.

I have always been an avid fan of Jane Austen’s novels; particularly Pride and Prejudice.  Although it is my favorite novel I have for a long time been disappointed in Mr. Bennet.  Longbourn’s Unexpected Matchmaker gives Mr. Bennet the personality I have always envisioned the witty father of Elizabeth Bennet should truly have.
