LovePridePrejudice is owned and operated by me, Emmaline Hoffmeister.

I am a happily married working mother of two young boys. This site started out as a hobby while I was sick on bedrest with my second child. I was not allowed up out of bed longer than a little each day so I was on the internet playing and reading a lot of Jane Austen Fan Fiction. I met Barry, a website designer in England who taught me HTML code and the site began as a place to post and keep track of my Fan Fiction and the stories of others that I love. It has taken on a life of its own and is often hard for me to keep up with, but I do my best. As I said we started with just my one piddly little story, we have developed into a site that has reached greater than 20,000 visits as of October 2008 and has an average read of just over 100 people a day.

I absolutly love everything to do with Jane Austen and Pride and Prejudice and therefore everything to do with this site.

But the best thing about this site is that it provides me a stress reliever at the end of my working days and once the kids have gone to bed.
